You are just like most men. You ejaculate too quickly for your own liking, 5 minutes is about average for most men to cumm. You can work on this by yourself using a stop and start technique I have described many times in my column here. Basically masturbate until you are ready to cumm and then stop until teh urge goes away. Start stroking again and stop when you reach teh melting point again. Keep doing this over and over. Eventually you will master the urge to cumm and be able to hold it as long as you need.
Now if you don’t want to go through all the practice why not masturbate real quick before your GF comes over so you can skip right to the 20-25 minute sessions with her? That would be a smart move and one I reccomend guys to do.
As for your booze question. This is normal since alcohol desensitizes your body and you will be able to last longer. Just don’t drink too much or your penis will not get erect at all!
